Improving From Threats and Weaknesses from P2

My weaknesses were:
- Overly critical of my own work.
- Can panic easily.
- Sometimes to much work can stress me out.
- Can concentrate on making the final product standard rather than adding my own special flare.

I've become a lot more comfortable with my finished products. The more experience I've gained, the higher my works quality has become. Which has made me feel more proud of my work, and more comfortable knowing when I start a project that I have the skills and I can make a good final product if I put the effort in.

I am now a lot calmer, I've given myself stress exercises to calm myself down so I can concentrate fully. My communication skills are a lot better from experience and forcing myself into uncomfortable situations. I work much better in a group now, and I can properly add my ideas to a group discussion.

I'm better at dealing with big workflows now. I'm used to it and now if I have loads of work to finish and complete it can make me work harder and faster. I like finishing work early to give myself free time or extra time to make my work higher quality.

Achieving my goals

One of my goals was to get the highest grade I could achieve. Getting panicked easily and being too critical of my own work could really drag me down. But the more projects I finished, the more experience I got working in those situations and I ended up becoming a lot more comfortable. Also, my passion for making high-quality products finally shone through. The workload can still stress me out occasionally, as to make something higher quality, we had to put a lot more effort in and sometimes learn new software or more about the software and technology we were already using.

The next goals I had was to make a portfolio. To make my portfolio more powerful, and to show my skills my work had to be the best it could be. I went back through my work and found the best products and projects I've made and worked on. Because one of my strengths is to push to make higher quality products, most of my work is up to a high standard, making my portfolio look better. However, I did end up trying to make the portfolio far too flashy, using up a lot of my time.

I also wanted to make a short film on my own as a passion project which I could also add to my portfolio. I would struggle to make this however as I worry I wouldn't be able to plan it all on my own and I would need a good team to make it high quality. I would probably strain under the stress of doing it all by myself. But now my communication skills are better, I can talk to people more confidently asking them to help me out.

I also want to apply to university. This is a big step for me as I can get very worried and stressed out under pressure. I would worry my work wasn't good enough to get in. I've become more confident my work is of high quality but my anxiety would probably end up overpowering you. Although using my newly gained skills and tricks to calm myself down I would be able to fight through it and apply with confidence.
